Okay, I understand a lot of the old Rebels members are upset by this decision, but you have to understand we really didn't have too many other routes to take. Max and Mayra were both going to quit or leave the clan. They brought the idea up in the staff chat to have a staff merge with Destiny and make everyone below officer reapply to make sure they were active. To be completely honest, I was happy when I heard the news. I haven't been having much fun with Minecraft lately and I was on the verge of leaving the clan. When I was told that we were spicing it up a little, I was on board with the idea because it would mean a new experience.

I did feel bad that all of the members would have to reapply. It did seem a little unfair considering you guys were already in the clan. I originally thought the way this would play out would be our members staying their ranks and Destiny's members applying, but not everything turns out the way we want. I can't pretend to know exactly how all the members feel, considering I didn't have to reapply. I can imagine that it is tough to get kicked out of a clan you've been so dedicated to for so long and be told to reapply to make sure you're "active" enough. I'm sorry for that and I hope at least some of you will stick around.

Now, back on the topic of "We had no other choice." We really didn't have another choice. Maybe we had one, but this seemed like our best one. As I said above, Max and Mayra were BOTH leaving. That meant that Trevor and I would be the ones to be leading the clan. If I'm being honest, I don't think I would make a very good leader. At least not at this point. I can't speak for Trevor, but I think he'd have a hard time leading on his own. Mayra had already made up her mind about leaving MCSG in general, but Max just really wanted something fresh. That is where Jc came in. It seemed to solve plenty of problems.
1) Max stays
2) We have a new leader; might I add, one that was already a previous leader in Rebels before
3) We would get new members from Destiny. That would make for a more active clan
4) We basically win clan wars ;)

I would say we went wrong when we didn't tell the Rebels members about it first. We were going to announce it this weekend, but Max and Jc had decided they just wanted to do it now. In my opinion, I think we should've at least talked to the members before locking the thread and making a new one. I know some of the members knew from just being on when it happened, but many such as Butter, had no clue this was going on and had to be informed from the kik chat.

I'm sorry to everyone who is angry, unhappy, or just sad about our decision, but we felt that it was the best option. Some of you are saying that the whole foundation of Rebels being a family is being broken, but I don't see how that is the case here. If I'm correct, there were maybe only 3 members in the current Rebels from the old Rebels. Clans change, especially this one. You can say that we're tarnishing the Rebels name, but no matter what happens. We'll still always be a family. Having new members doesn't change that. I'm 100% going to miss everyone who decided not to come back and I'll try my best to still talk with each and every one of you. I love you all and I hope you can forgive us for the decision we made.

EDIT: I typed this up before the last 2 pages of comments, so if something was already stated or addressed, don't worry about it! :)

TL;DR: Build a bridge and get over it No never mind that's mean.

If doubt you want my input on this or even care but I'm just going to say it. There was no problem with Rebels as it was. Now there is basically only 2 good clans, this and Apex. I wouldn't have a problem with this if the name was different, but the name is still Rebels and that means anyone that was in it should keep their ranks. If you wanted us to be active, you should've just told us. Nobody was whining about being inactive. Also, not even asking anyone what they think about this is just plain wrong imo, and unfair. The clan was fine as it was, it wasn't dying. You saying it was this or disbanding is so untrue Mayra wouldn't have disbanded it. I don't think you guys appreciated her enough as an owner and the decisions she made. They may not have been fair, but they sure as hell contributed to the clan. Anyways, best of luck.
I agree with you on this, and I'm coming from the opposite perspective.
Destiny and Rebels are very different clans in every way but the leaders. The whole thing feels selfish.

But then again I may be the one being selfish. From what I understand the decision was based on the fact that rebels was going to disband. Honestly, I hate a lot of people that were in the rebels, but maybe I'm the only one that doesn't fit in with this group. Maybe everyone else is having a great time and I'm the only one who feels off about it. The rebels group was a very kind group, while destiny had that "I dont care" attitude which I loved and felt a part of. I have always been bad with kindness, and good with honesty, and that is why I don't feel like i fit in with the rebels group. Even though that is, I am going to give it a shot. Even though I will find myself getting pissed off a ton, I'll try.
