I honestly can't tell you what this was, as I ruled out a bow shot and your teammate punching you by reviewing the footage. Maybe another moderator can help?

The same thing happened to me yesterday on Alaskan Village. Somebody had the spectator glitch, so I had to wait it out in death match. I lit part of the cornucopia on fire just for the hell of it, and was punched by nothing into the fire.

Actually, now that you mention it, Shelby and I were in the same game and I was a spectator. She could see me as well as other players too.

When you have the spectator glitch I don't think you can interact with other players. Phantoms.

Yeah, I've had the spectator glitch where I could see spectators and we tried to see if we could punch players but you can't.
