No chat?

I can't see any chat. Idk if its a server or client problem, but for some reason I can't see chat. Chat is set to shown...

xD Fail by me. Should have actually read the whole post. I guess that's what happens when I am in a hurry.

Anyways. Back on topic. I don't know what would stop it. Do you have any mods installed?

Try pressing F1. It toggles all visible features in the HUD such as inventory, names, hands, and chat. Hope this helped!

It might be a result of failed modding attempts. When you update does it take those files away?

If that is the case, delete your in file in your .minecraft folder, and start minecraft.
