AIM - AOL Instant Messenger, precursor to much of what you use today.
Windows Live - Read: MSN.
ICQ - Russian(?) Skype/WhatsApp(?) minus the voice, somewhat unpopular(?).
Yahoo Messenger - Dead IIRC, might've been replaced with something else.
Google Talk - Precursor to (the now defunct) Hangouts, dead as of 2017(?).
