MCSG Golden Age?

I honestly have not been happier on MCSG than I am now. Even if I am not winning as much anymore, I can't wait till summer. It's nice to see all the other mods come back. Hopefully we can everything behind us and move forward better than ever.

I now regret quitting these servers back in September. I miss last summer a lot, and a huge feeling of nostalgia comes over me when I think of it. I doubt this summer will be as good. Right now the maps aren't that good IMO. I'll probably give it a go, though.

It was a long time ago. IMO last summer was the best.

I was actually just thinking the same thing. We have gotten back many of our old players that switched to the hive, including some great new mods. It seems the obsession over the hive's freshness has disappeared, and now if we are to be rival franchises we can do it well.

Well, that's why I used the words "a" and "heading into." That time was great, but I feel like we are heading in a direction to renew that experience.

Recently, I feel like we are heading into a new golden age of MCSG. We have gotten a ton of new staff, and great old mods like G33ke and SixZoSeven have come back. Lag isn't perfect, but it's better than in the past. Baccas aren't too much of a problem anymore. Chad is restarting livestreams. I feel as a whole the community is more tight-knit and happy.

What do you think?

I don't really want to go into detail, but I will say things are starting to look VERY bright for this community. My hope is this summer will be reminiscent of summer 2012
