Color Scheme Ideas?

Ok so I need an idea for some color schemes for my skin... Here's my most recent rendering but I'm not too sure about the choice of colors for the background. What do you guys think?

It looks really really good, although I agree that the colors could use some work. Idk which, though. I'm not an artist :S

Try a light blue for the back wall (replace the green bits), slightly lighter then the color of the characters eyes, and a darker blue for the floor (replacing the red bits). It brings out the least-used color in the character, so it might look cool
