SURVIVAL GAMES Can't send chat messages?

Service (MCSG/SGC/QQ/BG/ZC/Creative/Teamspeak): All gamemodes, including hub.
Server Number / Gametype / Region (If applicable):
Time (With timezone): About five days ago.

Description of the bug: Whenever I try to send a chat message, this shows up: http://gyazo.com/f3a26a7a14e8bd32ad53174c2b930518

I don't know if I've been muted or something, but if I have then I've been muted for a pretty long time.

I looked into it and you are not muted, so you don't have to worry about that one.

The only reason that I could think of why this is occurring to you, is because of your chat settings. It may be that you have your chat settings set to "Chat: commands only", which causes you not being able to send regular messages in chat.

Try this: Go in your Minecraft settings to "Options" -> "Multiplayer Settings" -> "Chat: Shown".

It would have to look like this:

If it doesn't, click on the top left button until it displays "Chat: Shown" and try to type something in chat.
