Cannot Connect To US Locations

I logged into minecraft today, tried to join an US mcsg game, but it said "Connection refused". No matter what I do, I have restarted my minecraft plenty of times, yet it still fails to login. However, I can play on the CA location just fine. Please Help!

It could be a DDOS attack on the server or your wifi connection can't ping to the server.
