Sorry for this noob question, I used to have my avatar as my minecraft skin, but I recently got a new one and it hasn't change. I tried resetting it but I can't find the option to make an avatar your minecraft skin. Once again sorry for newbi-ness

Do you mean the avatar on your signature? If so, then go to the leader boards of the region you want the image for, search up your name, click it then copy and paste the BB code at the bottom of your stats into your signature editing page. You have to fix any caps in the Wrong Avatar? search bar though.

It doesn't automatically update, you have to go get the new image.

If you mean your forum avatar, you have to find the skin file and put it in your Avatar change button on your profile.
