The Difference between Gamma and Bright Resource Packs?

So since Gamma is bannable, is having a bright resource pack bannable as well? If bright resource packs ARE allowed, how would the mods be able to tell the difference? I don't want to get banned if I'm using a brightened resource pack. Thanks.

well, one clue would be that your textures would be different, but that really doesn't help much lol

i guess it would be hard to tell unless you provided them with the resource pack as evidence for a dispute.

Resourcepacks that give the same effect as increasing your gamma are not allowed.
