With this new leaderboard system, players will attempt more to win games and in turn of this, means more players online. More players online = better for server.

I don't think so. Sure, maybe some players will think that their one week of dominance is enough for themselves to be pleased, but I know most of the people I've ever spoken to and witnessed climb the leaderboards in the past would be striving for that 1 month 1st place spot. They might not attempt it again, but oh well, they'd still have a nice start to the yearly leaderboard/seasonal one. It's about the motivation to play, and having this system gives people with different schedules that may make it difficult to play often to strive for the first time ever to get in the top 10 or so on the LBs. This finally gives players choices; for example when and how much they want to play hard for a particular week, dominate that week and then take a small break the next week. This gives players freedom, which is great. Is the emblem of the month for the top players not to their liking? Great! They can finally have a break and cool it down for the month to go actively play another game instead. It's a great thought that I hope the server picks up! It's getting me pumped up just typing it out!
